Outreach

Tournaments
- We hosted 2 tournaments of our own in September & October
  - In our tournaments, the students from Beckman are the people running the tournaments which includes set-up, inspection, queuing, field resetting, refereeing, judging, and clean-up.
Summer Academy
- Over the summer our school district hosts a summer academy for the middle school and elementary classes. FOr the middle school program
  - For the middle school level, each middle school has Their coach chooses 4 students that participated in the previous season that want to participate in the subsequent season. they come together at the beginning of summer with a goal of building a functional robot at the end of 4 weeks for the new competition game. Each Middle school team has their own mentor which happens to be the Beckman students themselves.
- For the elementary levels transitioning into the middle school levels, there are classes that the students are able to take to prepare for the middle school levels.
  - These classes available to these students are taught by our middle School Robotics Coaches to help prepare and transition the elementary students from vex iq to vrc in middle and to help lead and drive the programs.
